How to Internal Link Articles

Creating internal links between articles is a beneficial practice to provide readers with easy access to related content, thereby enhancing their reading experience. Notion facilitates this through a feature known as 'Link to Page', allowing you to create internal links effortlessly. This guide will walk you through the process of internal linking articles within Notion.

Open the Article

Choose the article you wish to edit by clicking on it. This will open up the article page, allowing you to edit its contents.

Locate the 'Link to Page' Option

As you're drafting or editing your article, you'll come to a point where you want to create an internal link. Here, click on the + icon that appears on the left side when you hover over a new line or press / on your keyboard to bring up Notion's quick find menu.

Search for the Article to Link

Type “Link to Page” in the quick find menu, and Notion will provide you with this option. Click on it, and a search bar will appear.

Select the Desired Article

In the search bar, type the title of the article you want to link to. As you type, Notion will suggest matching pages from your workspace. Click on the correct article from the suggestions to create the link.
